Good thing Misty was fantastic at following scents! She managed to follow Rayen to the Buffalo Plains. There was buffalo smell in the air that made her mouth water.

Hazel troted a little way behind the other wolves, taking in her new surrondings as best as she could. The scents of many prey animals filled her nose; elk, deer, moose and buffalo, all would make a very tasty meal. she knew they were Near or even surround by long grass as she could hear its charateristic rustle as the wind sweept through it. She slowed to a walk behind the Misty- who had been following Rayen, perking her ears to whatever sounds might be around.

Rayen silent stepped from the shadows, taking everything in eyes scanning the herds that had gathered picking out the forms of the weaker animals that they would have a better chance of taking down. Soon her eyes picked out what she was looking for, and elder elk limped along side her herd as they grazed. Motioning his her head the female pointed out the target wanting to talk as little as possible to avoid alerting the animals to their presence.
"I want two wolves to circling around and cut the herd try to separate the elderly elk from them, and herd her towards us." She said, "Hazel, Finn, I want you two to cut the herd Akindo and Hazel I want you to both leap in and help steer the elk attack it if you can; the rest will move in and attack. "

Hazel nodded at the alphas plan and quickly began planning the quickest route she could take and the best direction to steer the elk in. She did this a lot, working out a detailed plan in her head as it made it so easy to predict what would happen, helping her greatly as it meant she would know where she was going without seeing.

Akindo gave one curt nod and then trotted to stand beside Finn and Hazel, feeling the blood lust already beginning to root itself into her bloodstream. Her ears flicked towards the buffalo grazing in the distance, knowing that taking down just one could fill their belly for little more than a week.
"Is this an ambush?" She asked slyly. "Or shall we howl a hunting song?"

Rayen's ears twitched as her blood rushed through her veins as the prospect of a hunt effected her as well, eager to draw blood Rayen forced herself to remain still. She smiled as she watch Misty's excitement her eyes flicking to Akindo as she spoke. "This will be an ambush," She said," We can sing after the animal is defeated."

Akindo smirked in reply, her eyes glittering like she held some deep dark secret when all it was was the thrill of something exciting about to happen. Vast energies pulsed through her as she flicked her tail towards Finn and Hazel to follow in the hunt and then slunk forward. (Is this day or night? Cause it'd be cooler if it was at night)

(We can say it is at night since we hadn't set the day.)
Rayen returned the smirk before fixing her gaze on the bison once more, out of the corner of her eye she say Akindo motion to hazel and Finn. Trusting her and the others to carry out her role to the T Rayen left them to it as she flicked her tail for the others to follow her. using the cover of the night the female made her way around the plain, when the forest ended Rayen slunk forward into the tall grass swaying ans shifting with the way the shadows and grass moved; a skill she had acquired after many years of forced practice.

Akindo's coat blended well into the night. Her eyes seared blazing indigo in the darkness but they could easily be mistaken for flowers. Besides, bison were awfully stupid animals. White flecks sprouted out from her back against the backdrop as well but prey were usually easy animals to trick and most mistook them for giant white stars or white pebbles lying on the ground.
Her tongue flicked out to swipe across her swollen pink gums, which craved to dart out fiery teeth into flesh. Wasting no time she set out into the night, skimming the tree line until she felt covered enough to slink out into the open. She moved with deliberate slowness so Hazel and Finn could follow her movement.

Hazel followed Akindo, Alert to every noise and sound that surronded her. Her pelt was not the best of cover but her light, skillful paws with swift soundless movements made her like a ghost in the night. She craved the kill ahead, just to be among the action. The feeling around other wolves changed when hunting, the silent stealth with the buzz of excitment, She could pick all this up in the atmosphere, and she loved it.

Akindo's paws felt the soft, moist earth as she crept towards the giant wooly beast, her haunches rolling like mountains, her eyes smoldering, her fangs beginning to creep out from under her lip. Silence overtook her like a dark shadow and the grass allowed glimpses of what was ahead, tall enough to swell over her like waves in an ocean. Soon enough she was within leaping distance to the buffalo when she curved her way along the edge like a sail cutting gracefully through choppy waters. She knew this is where Hazel and Finn would split up from their linear trail and head in opposite directions in order to surround the bison from three different points. There Akindo would charge and drive it towards the other two, and then together they'd cut it off and herd it towards Rayen and the others so the hunt would officially begin!

Hazle crept around the buffalo, making sure it couldn't see her, she stoped at the point of her choice, to the left of the beast, Below the level of the grass. She perked her ears to hear the creature grazing, maybe only three meters away, its breathing seemed to thunder through the everlasting silence. Excitment ran through her like a fever in her blood, yet she was unmoving, her pressence was unknown. Her white fangs now visable as she craved the taste of blood, her body low to the ground, ready for speed or power or whatever she needed, she was ready for anything.

Rayen had made her way down the plain, her body quietly cutting threw the grass as she stalked low to the ground, her eye watching the buffalo. She hadpsoitioned herself near the direction the others would attempt to herd their target toward, a place oppisite Hazil and Finn ready to stike the beast as it charged their way. The others would be taking up similar positions near her position ready to attack and surround the beast as they continued the deadly dance of life and death.
