This thread is for misty and I only, it takes place in the Amber Forest.
------
The sound of steady panting could be heard over the bird songs and other life sounds of the forest, as the dark female sat in the shade of the forest. The heat and grown very intense over a short period of time, now even the Amber Forest was feeling it's effects, the normally cool shade now only a degree or two cooler then outside in the open. Leaves and bows sagged as they weakened from a lack of water, drying out in the heat. Such events worried the wolf, all life needed water to survive if none came the prey would leave or parish due to a lack of water and food, and with out prey, her pack would die. Sitting there contemplating such grim thought the female's guard dropped, a rare phenomenon that showed just how serious it situation was.
The normally vibrant greens of the birch, aspens, and pine had long since paled until the leaves resembled a ghostly appreciation rather then that of actual solid plants. If one were able to see through the canopy of leaves they would spot far in the distance a rolling black and gray mass of storm clouds blotting out the blue sky, the only hope the Ruby had that they would in fact survive this harsh drought. But the storm did not appear to be drawing any closer, every time she left the shade of the forest to gaze up at those clouds they looked as if they had not moved, frozen in time. They could not afford to have this storm pass by them or dissipate before reaching the valley, soon the small creeks and streams would dry up leaving only the Crystal Falls and Swamp Land as the only sources of water for the animals of the valley.
Shaking her head sadly the dark figure that usually held her self so high, so proudly, allowed her shoulders to slump in exhaustion. How would she be able to protect her pack from this? The answer, she couldn't- no animal could face the forces of nature for it was too mighty of a beast. Helplessly they could only watch as Mother Nature viciously deprived the land of that precious liquid needed in order for life to grow and last. All Rayen could do was watch as the land grew hotter and her pack grew wearier, she was powerless.

Go ahead and post your reply Misty, your goal is to explain your character, what is she thinking, feeling, saying, or doing. Also take a bit to explain the surroundings, as you can see I set the scene in the forest, the leaves are dry and dieing, the heat intense even in the shade. You do not have to be very detailed right away, just do your best and I'll coach you along the way. ^^
