New rank, oh you mean in the role play. Yes I haven't been able to do it becuase the day has been busy. I have yet to know what rank you want as well, do you want to be a Topaz (An apprentice to rayen or another wolf) or skip that and go to full on adult?

(Sorry about my inactivity. I'm frequently forgetting to check wolf sites now x3)
River felt safer now that she knew she was welcome here. She allowed her green orbs to watch the other wolves before trotting off to explore a bit. Afterall, it was the sole purpose for her to run away from home. River soon caught the scent of a squirrel and grunted softly. She hadn't found food for a few days though it was hard to tell she was unnaturally skinny under all the fluff. Anyway, the she-wolf dug her shiny black nose into the ground and began following the small rodent's trail. Finally, it was in sight. She sighed when noticing it had crawled up a tree. River flicked her light brown ear in determination and charged the tree. She dug her claws into the bark and began trekking her way slowly up. The squirrel seemed stunned and swiftly hopped away. The yearling groaned and jumped toward the ground, landing on her feet but allowing her legs to give away so she sprawled at the dirt. There, River laid with her belly toward the sun and her paws stretched out.

Eayen nodded at Misty her enthusiasm amusing the older female as she signaled for them to follow her back through the Ambre forest toward the Buffalo Plains, her dark shape blending int othe shadows as if she were one herself as she silently walked along. her body moving and swaying withte rythnm ofthe land, copying the way the bushes and shadows moved as a light breeze russtled them. She altered their course more out of instinct then skill, her keen senses telling her that the wind would carry their scent toward the buffalo if they continued on their course, and so she lead them in a wide arch through the brush her keen eyes always watching, always alert as her other senses searched for posible threats.
This was her pack's first test, many had a hard time following her silent form, often losing track of her and causing her to retract her steps to allow them to be able to refind her. if these wolves could continue to follow her and stay on her tail even thought her scent was being carried away from them, her pelt color and the way she moved her body caused her to appear to simply vanish, if they could follow her after that she believed they'd be able to track just about anything.

As Celeste realized her new surrounding, she immediately began to feel alert. This place was nothing like the Buffalo Plains. Celeste trotted over to the water and swallowed a gulp of fresh water. The new she wolf then began exploring and soon grew hungry. Celeste remembered she still hadn't met any other wolves and was aware the she couldn't hunt anything to big since she was by herself at the moment. Celeste accepted these facts and lifted head slightly to an angle, sniffing out any possible squirrels or racoons. Celeste's face glowed with pleasure when she smelt a near by squirrel. Although she was hungry, she didn't know if the grounds were free to hunt on. "Uhh..this is what you get for not making friends!" Celeste spoke to herself. Celeste laid down, not wanting to risk any fights and waited patiently for another wolf to strole by. "Food must wait, I don't want to start off bad with the Alpha..," Celeste said aloud to herself and continued to wait and soon drifted to sleep.

The dark wolf made her way toward th river, her gate slugish and unconcerned. her belly was full wit hthe meat from the hunt, her mood pleased and proud of her small pack and their accomplishment. Only the need for water dampened her jolly mood as it caused her throat to feel dry and sticky, but such thoughts of a refreshing drink quickly vanished as the scent of an intruder crossed her path.
instantly she changed direction moving parrallel with the river until she magma colored eyes fell upon the sleeping form of a wolf, as silent as death Rayen moved closer until she stood a meter away from this stranger. "Well, well ,well, what do we have here?" She said, her quiet yet powerful voice cutting through the din of the rapids.

Celeste flickered her yellow eyes open quickly and stood up in fright and startle. Celeste didn't know if this was the Alpha or not. Celeste growled lightly in fear. The fur on Celeste's neck flew upwards, her ears pointed up while her tail was tucked between her legs and her voice quivered with curiosity and fear. "Who are you? I'm Celeste. I'm sorry if I might of had stepped on owned land. I was just so thirsty and I didn't hunt on this land. I don't want any trouble and if I caused you to be angry, I'm sorry and I will soon be off back to the place I was at if you wish." Celeste waited for a reply from the stranger wolf....

Rayen cocked her head as she watched the female's reaction to her presence, at least she knew how to show respect." i am Rayen, leader of the Dancing Stones pack." She said simply, how one could not know that they had trveled into a pack's territory was a rather thought and would have been recieved with a frown of disappointment toward this wolf who could not even pay enough attention to smell a powerful scent. But she did not, the heavy rains had washed much of their scent markers away, she would have to make sure the pack replenished them soon to prevent such things from happening again.
But for now she could take advantage of this wolf entering their land, thy could always use another healthy set of teeth to protect the pack, and so she sat showing the other she did not mean her harm. Although she still held herself regally, head his shoulder errect like a queen looking out over her kingdom. "There is no trouble, the rains have washed away our scent markers and so you would have had no way of knowing if this land was owned by others, as for being angry...I am anything but, curious is more like it. Might I ask who you are, and why you have been possessed as to bea loner?"

Celeste sat up and looked rather large and Celeste listened to the wolf. Celeste thought, "Ohh, she's the leader....Should I apologize?" Celeste flattened her ears slightly being submissive towards the she wolf and spoke calmly, "I am sorry, I didn't notice your sent. Please excuse my behavior. I am Celeste, I am in search of a pack but I will not beg. If I do not find a pack soon, then I will set off to find a mate to make my own pack. I am interested in your pack and I would ask to be apart of that pack. I am good with my teeth, I have good stamina, I'm good with listening, and I can run quite swiftly." Celeste noticed she was bragging and quickly changed to her 'not so good' performances and spoke honestly," I am good with my nose yet struggle to smell the faintest scents. My hearing is nice yet I fidget with startle often at times, as I did just shortly." Celeste chuckled to herself. "Those are my strengths and weaknesses." Celeste tucked her tail under her large, black body and dared not to stare into the eyes of such a wolf and simply waited for her reply.

Rayen listened politely as the wolf spoke, first apologizing, then introducing herself, then she went one to ask for a place in the pack and yet not. When she launched into a explanation of her strength and weaknesses a smile had lit up the dark she-wolf's pretty face. "There is no need to apologize Celeste," She said giving a dismissive flick of her tail saying the subject was unimportant and over," As for joining all are welcome into this pack's fold if they agree to follow our rules, Dancing Stones does not care about one's strength our weaknesses. I'm more interested in your heart, your emotions and personality, the driving force behind it, things that will become apparent to me over time."
She allowed a moment for this to sink in before going on, "So what I am saying Celeste, is yes, you may join our pack. And Welcome to Dancing Stones." She stood, the sound of a howl carrying over the tree tops as a wolf asked for anohter of its kind to come. By her reckoning the call came from the Upper Cliffs, a truly treacherious area to roam. "It seems we have another trespasser." She said, knowing so because the voice was not that of any of her wolves, "If you would like you may accompany me as i see to this new wolf, it will allow you a chance to get to know our territory a little better. Then we can go and eat, the pack has done a wonderful job at bringing down a bison."With that she loped away toward the cliffs.

Celeste felt pleasure in her body. Celeste grinned at the female wolf. Celeste was just flattered! Celeste thought, "Wow, I like this wolf. Hope we can be life devoted friends..."
"Umm...Thank you so much. Nice to meet you!," Celeste said with joy. After chatting, Celeste followed the favored female to the Upper Cliffs...

Terry trotted into the clearing and looked at the flowing river. Before he went over to get a drink, he spotted Rayen and another wolf he had never seen before leaving in the direction of a howl he had heard moments before. He ran over to the river and quickly lapped up some water before racing after the two wolves.

Willow padded down a slope, beautiful green trees rose up on either side of her. The air was moist and cool. It was obvious that there was a lake or river, some kind of water source nearby. Well she was thirsty, and if there was a type of river, stream, or a big lake, she would mark that down on her men tel map she was making of the pack's territory. Willow was not disappointed. A large river, like a giant snake, paved the way in front of her. She quickly trotted down to the river's edge and lapped up the refreshing water. When her thirst was quenched Willow looked down to see another wolf staring back up at her, except this wolf had a dusty red face, opposite of her pure white face. Willow slashed into the cold river, ridding her fur of the dirt. When her pelt had returned to a silvery white Willow padded out the river and shook. "This must be Diamond River," Willow thought. Rayen had told her about it on their way to the Buffalo Plains. "Well, I'll head downstream," she thought. She began to trot with the flow of the river. EDIT: ----Some time later---- The farther Willow trotted downstream, the more slower the river got. Soon the once rapid river began to slowly transform to a mushy swamp. Live green trees were replaced by dead ones, and the solid earth began to give in under her paws. But swamps never frightened Willow, she often hunted in a similar swamp in her old territory. As long as you kept a good eye out for swamp traps, this was a great place to fish. Willow stopped to look at the slow river. She backed away and crouched down, waiting for scaly prey to swim by. She licked her lips in anticipation, keeping her eyes focused on the river. Flash! A fish tail catches her eye. Without a moment's hesitation Willow leaps into the air. SPLASH! She fiercely grabs her prey by the gills shaking the life from the fish. When the fish lays dead in her powerful jaws, Willow glances over to see a small coyote trying to stalk her, to take her prize. "Nice try, Get lost coyote!" she gives a growl. The coyote flicks it's small, brown ears before quickly trotting away. Willow then gulps down the fish and continues silently to the swamp.

Celeste and Willow trotted as one. Celeste always wanted a friend like her. Celeste also wanted a sister like her. Celeste looked ahead and still crinkled her snout in disgust. Celeste lashed her tail rapidly in aggravation. Celeste let a growl grow from the back of her throat through her mouth. Celeste wanted to get the the diver fast. Celeste finally made her way to the river and jumped suddenly, leaving Willow to watch. Celeste stayed under for a bit until she finally jumped up and out. Her coat was drenched with water dripping off her body. Celeste shook her body; drying her instantly and her fur began to fluff up. Her coat was now soft and fluffy. Celeste immediately licked her black fur to push it down to make her look slimmer. Celeste looked at Willow and smiled.

Willow gave a happy pant and chuckled. Then she thought of an idea. "Watch me celeste!" Willow ran and jumped on a large smooth rock nearby. She crouched her front paws as if she was going to perform some kind of amazing trick. then suddenly she turned towards Celeste and leaped at her, red mud flying behind her like a rocket. Willow then rolled Celeste over then quickly regained her feet. She looked over to see Celeste covered in sticky, red mud that had come off of Willow's fur. Willow then jumped into the river and hurrily padded away from the muddy Celeste, the water was beggining to cleanse her own fur. "Catch me if you can Celeste!" Willow gave a happy bark as she leaped onto the sandy bank and quickly shook her fur. She then put on a burst of speed as she ran up river, her glossy, silver pelt glimmering in the sun.
